Sencore cm2000 manual
No adapters included so I'll have to make some adapters as needed. It's great to hear that it is a useful piece of test gear. They seem to be pretty in expensive on eBay right now. I need to get my G07 dialed in for my wife's ms pacman and need to go through a wg for a friend. Was just looking for a way to test on my bench. Any suggestions on ways to use it for those monitors? I have a Sencore LC which has been a huge help and thought this would help.
Hello Ed, Those links should help a great deal. Thank you! I have an isolation transformer that I've never needed to use yet but with that and the tester I should be able to see how things look on the bench. Now I can't wait to try it out. I'll need to figure out what settings will be needed for the G07 and WG but should be able to do that before I start. Both work but have issues. Cap kits and adjustments should do it.
My G07 looks great but the right side isn't as tall as the left and I can see the yoke needs adjustment. Never attempted that but would like to get it looking the way it should. Do you happen to have the parameters you use to test your arcade monitors? At the moment the only two monitors I need to use it on would be a 19" G07 and a 19" WG Did you set the tester to output CGA or something different? I'm making progress. First I made a db15 to he db15 adapter to test regular vga monitors to confirm the tester was working.
This morning I made an adapter from the db15 to 6-pin connector for arcade monitors. With the Sencore set to cga I am able to get a stable picture? It isn't bright but that could be the monitor adjustment. I just tried driving another arcade monitor with the Sencore CM and it also seems dim so I think the monitor I had on the bench is now fine. I'm going to try that one directly in a game to see how it looks. Now I need to figure out why it looks dim on analog.
Maybe the other grounds should be connected? If anyone has a similar setup and can check to see if all the grounds are ties together that may help. I hope you feel better soon! I have plenty of other projects to work on. JohnMc Member. RobotWorkshop, the Sencore cm is on my hit list of items to buy. I know I'd love to see some pictures.
JohnMc said:. Click to expand Those look nice. I was looking at the specs for the Sencore and it mentions the digital color output is V while the analog color output is from V. From the G07 monitor manual the analog colors are in the V range. That would explain why they all look dim when the Sencore is in analog mode. Not sure if there is some sort of adapter to scale up the voltage to what the monitor expects.
